Cardiovascular Medicine & Coronary Interventions, (CMCI) is a private practice specializing in the management of cardiovascular disease. We evaluate and care for patients with all types of cardiovascular conditions including hypertension, high cholesterol, cardiac prevention, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, peripheral and coronary artery disease.
CMCI was founded by Dr. John B. Simpson in 1981 with a special interest and expertise in coronary revascularization. Our physicians have been instrumental in the development of balloon angioplasty, and continue to be at the forefront of percutaneous coronary interventions, including the latest approaches to opening chronically occluded arteries. We treat some of the most complex coronary artery cases in California.
We deliver these technical strengths with top-notch patient care. We strive for the very highest level of personal service. If your health requires a hospital stay, our physicians will be there, guiding and managing your care every step of the way. Our nurses and staff are friendly, professional and supportive. Our practice is affiliated with Sequoia Hospital’s Heart and Vascular Institute, one of the nation's leading providers of cardiovascular care.
